I am so excited to finally have a STEM Lab on our campus, and that I have the pleasure of being the STEM teacher! As the STEM teacher, I will do everything possible to give every child the best experience I can in 45 minutes. With the proper tools, routines, and organization students can obtain the skills needed for success in the 21 century. STEM will help foster building resilience, encourage experimentation, teamwork, knowledge application, tech use, problem solving, adaptation, etc... The benefits of STEM are endless! As I get my bearings, I am learning that much of the STEM Lab will be built on funding from outside resources, and donations. With your help, I would love to start by building my coding units for each grade level. To do that, I will need sets of age appropriate robots and tools. This investment in STEM will benefit ALL of our students. I have selected some items to get us started. I look forward to this exciting journey for our students, and hope we can get started with exploring coding soon!
