Our project is all about attacking the obesity problem that we face in society. Our physical education class will be fitness oriented and goal based curriculum. Studies state that majority of the students that do not participate in phys ed are not confidant and are turned away by the competition of games. We will use the materials for station work. We will focus on building up every part of the body and also physical endurance. We asked for weights and resistance bands for physical strength training. We also want Pluto boxes to work on leg strength. The fitness aspect will provide multiple opportunities for students to choose the workouts that fit their body types. This will help them to develop lifelong fitness. That is the theme of the project. Students will form workouts for muscle strength, endurance, balance, etc.
