We are a Title I school, a school with large concentrations of low-income students. Approximately 80% of our students are considered economically disadvantaged. 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. 85% of our students are at-risk of dropping out of school before graduating.
In my classroom, I encourage my students to live out my classroom philosophy, Warrior PRIDE (be Prepared, be Respectful, have Integrity, be Dependable, use Etiquette). Because the majority of my students are low income, they have very limited access to technology at home.
