Hello there! I have been teaching high school science for the last 9 years and this marks the start of year 10. Previously I was in the medical allied field as a Board Certified Pedorthist. I enjoyed my work but I always felt a calling to teaching so after 14 years I made the change. I have been very excited to have spent all my years at Elsik High School. We are a very large high school . Our student mix is very varied and allows for learning from many cultures. We have been a Title 1 school meaning many of our students are economically disadvantaged. The excitement students show when presented with a challenge to solve is contagious. I have been teaching Honors Anatomy the last 5 years. I have started an after school program to allow even 9th grade students to join the dissections Last year I also began Engineering Design and problem solving. I need your help providing my students empowering technology.
