My students come from a variety of backgrounds, including refugee camps and foster homes. These differences make my students who they are and, often times, these differences cause arguments, misunderstandings, and hurt feelings. However, we have worked hard to build a classroom community. Our classroom community embraces differences and fosters respect and tolerance of others.
