Middle School students love interacting with online media. My school follows a Bring Your Own Technology policy, which lets students who have their own devices to use them in school. Grafton Middle has focused on purchasing technology to close the divide between our more affluent students who have devices and those who cannot afford them. However, we have mainly asked students to provide their own headphones. Our zone is mostly middle class, but there are some families who have trouble affording supplies. Additionally, seventh graders are never the most reliable, and we often lose instructional time to searching for headphones or trading off with the ones we have.
