I teach an amazing group of 4th and 5th grade scholars who all have very different intellectual, sensory, communication, and fine motor needs. They attend a Title I elementary school in an urban school district with a high military presence. Although my students are all different, one thing they have in common is they all come to school eager and ready to learn. Hardworking, caring, and motivated is the best way to describe my class. Teaching and learning in my classroom has a functional academic and life skill focus. I work hard to help each scholar to learn skills that will help them have a successful and independent future.
