Students come from all over our large district to attend our school. They reflect the diverse area we live in, representing over 30 home languages. The majority of our students are in the middle class which means we do not have wealthy parents supporting us, nor do we have Title I funds pouring in. Our science department follows the principles of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education. We present science concepts in various ways to meet the California State Science Standards and make science relevant to our students' lives. We are trying to integrate more technology into our curriculum.
