My name is Mrs. Smith, and I love to teach! I am always thinking about and planning new lessons in order to make learning challenging and fun. Our school receives Title 1 funds, and many students come from impoverished and immigrant backgrounds. My goal is to prepare my students to think critically about issues, ideas, and topics that are important to them. I encourage creativity by providing an environment where it is good to think differently and invent new possibilities. In addition, it is my goal to prepare my students in 21st century skills by collaborating on projects, using computational thinking skills to solve problems, and to be digital citizens of the world.
