I am a Speech-Language Pathologist working in a local special education preschool classroom that serves students with a range of developmental disabilities. We use a theme-based curriculum, purposeful activities, and shared book reading to enhance speech and language skills. We aim to teach valuable and meaningful skills via multiple learning modalities including visual (through pictures and books), auditory (through songs and rhymes), kinesthetic (through movement, dance, gestures, and sign language), and tactile (through hands-on activities and play). We need your help to acquire much needed supplies and equipment to give our students opportunities to learn and grow. Our district includes lower-income schools with limited resources, so your contribution will make a big difference for our students. Thank you for your consideration and support!
