My kindergarten classroom is in a constant state of learning! Personal, social, and academic skills are being taught and reviewed at all times. My students love coming to school and I hope that I can extend that enthusiasm for them!
We are a public school that serves grades k-5 and includes multiple special education units. Our school also has a large population of students that are English Language Learners which makes us very unique. Our families range from lower to middle class, however, most are in the lower to lower middle class range.
Many students in our school come to kindergarten with little, if any, experience in an educational setting. The progress we make is exciting and, at times, unbelievable. We enter kindergarten as 4 and 5 years old children, and leave as independent learners.
