This project is to benefit the musicians of Hoover Middle School in Lakewood, CA. As a new director to the school, I am slowly starting to rebuild many aspects of the program. One area of immediate need is our beginning method books. We currently don't have a full class set for either ensemble without having to borrow books from another school. This project is designed to purchase a new set of books that we will be able to use for about the next 10 - 15 years. There are currently about 175 students in the music program which is about one third of the student population at Hoover.
