Hope is not a word we hear often in the backwoods of WV. Our school is the largest elementary school in the county yet we have the most challenging job. The students come from all different backgrounds as well as family and home situations.
We are in an economically declined area with more than 85% of our students on free and reduced lunch. Therefore, I like to try and make a difference in my students' lives. I try my hardest to give them as many opportunities I can in order for them to obtain the necessary skills to become successful students.
I want to ignite a flame that creates the thrist for knowledge and the love of learning. Your gift of HOPE will help create lifelong learners.
