By providing real life models, I hope my students will develop the skills necessary as they move on to post-secondary health science programs. Allowing the students time to develop dissection and analyzing skills is imperative if they want to move on the health science field. Although we have lab activities to understand the human body scheduled throughout the year, for many, this will be the first specimen the students will have a chance to dissect and explore the inner workings of. The students will work in groups to analyze the inner workings of the heart past just a digital picture.

About my class
