Hello,
I currently teach in a Title 1 school located in a low socioeconomic area of Orlando, Florida. 100 percent of students receive free breakfast, lunch, and supper. Most of our scholars are English as a Second language learners. I currently have students from different countries, different formal education experiences, and different types of learning. Many are coming to this country after having traumatic experiences in their home country and are living with family members other than their parents. Regardless of these circumstances, my students are hardworking and eager to learn. Our school and our classroom is a happy, safe, loving, and important place for them.
