Hi, please take a quick look and consider supporting my class, I am always looking to make school an exciting place to be. My learners are gifted and high achieving fifth grade students in a low income, socio-economically deprived neighborhood of a major urban metropolis in California. They score well on state tests and have bright futures. They learn quickly and enjoy literature and mathematics. As a group they are highly verbal and enjoy group discussions. It is my responsibility to cover the basic curriculum as well as to expose them to many of the more sophisticated experiences our city has to offer. It is my goal to give them exposure to the arts and to develop their creative thinking skills as well as train them to be critical thinkers. In every lesson I plan to meet the standard and to provide a reach that will help them stretch their understandings.
