Technology will have the most significant impact on our ability to engage our students with disabilities and make them active participants in their learning. Students will be able to access the tools within the computers to support them in developing reading and writing skills. They will be able to achieve a level of independence inaccessible to them without technology while developing computer skills that they will use for the rest of their lives.
With the help of Chromebook computers, my students will be able to demonstrate their abilities to their parents, their teachers and to themselves. Any support you can give these deserving students would be appreciated!
