I chose these materials to provide my students with flexible seating for their independent reading time. My students spend at least 45 minutes of their day working hard in leveled texts. I have seen first hand how much more productive students are when they are not worried about being uncomfortable on a hard floor or chair.
I want students to love reading, and one way is to do this is to make it an enjoyable experience.
These materials have the ability to make a huge difference in their reading lives. My students grew tremendously as readers last year, and I hope to see even more growth this year!
