My classroom of 23 second graders is in a high-poverty area (90% free/reduced lunch). They are energetic, eager to learn, and creative in imaginative play. Many of my students are artistic and love to get their hands dirty. Some of them love to build things. Yet others, like to play "school" during their recess time. All of them enjoy cooperative play and learning centers we have in our classroom.
