The materials will be essential in teaching my freshmen in a low-level math class how to note-take using Interactive Notebooks with the integration of technology. The focus with this group of students is to ease their transition into high school by implementing specific instructional strategies. My students will take ownership of their learning, develop better note-taking and organizational skills by creating a personalized notebook that make sense to them. A class set of materials and tech tools will facilitate the one-to-one access for students, making it possible for them to focus on note-taking and content retention, and reducing class management issues due to wait-times for materials to get passed around.
