Empathy and tolerance are learned skills just as valuable as reading and adding. I want my students to see and hear, through text, that there are many different types of people, beliefs, skin tones, and lifestyles. My goal is to build a daily reading curriculum that focuses on the uniqueness of individuals and how that can create a kinder World. I truly believe that I am responsible for educating my students to treat others with kindness. This diversity library will highlight and celebrate struggles and achievements of many peoples. I want my students to find the good that is inside of everyone and learn how to view their World through a more understanding lens.
