Our students come from an Urban setting and a variety of family backgrounds. We have a diverse student background, including children with Autism and Downs Syndrome. In our class, we service children with disabilities along with their typical peers. We believe that Inclusion benefits all the learners in our classroom. Our 25 third graders work together through the Station Teaching model, and we use the Universal Design of Learning (UDL) to design lessons which are engaging and rigorous for all of our students.
