Chromebooks will help engage my students with interactive lessons and prepare them for an increasingly digital workforce. Providing my students with access to the greatest learning tool ever invented--the Internet--they gain unprecedented access to resources and information. My students will utilize the chromebooks during math centers, small literacy groups and much more. This will also be a huge advantage in enabling me to assess my students progress in a much more efficient manner. Having all this information online helps me see my students areas of strengths and needs.
They also help prepare them for careers (which is particularly important as Science, Technology, Engineering and Math fields continue to increase in demand) and close achievement gaps.
