We love to use technology in our classroom to provide fun, engaging, and individualized learning experiences. We are fortunate enough to have enough enough technology in the classroom for all of our students, but with one problem. We don't have headphones!
Using headphones would create a more peaceful and productive classroom environment for my students. Having headphones would cut down on distraction caused by the sound of multiple students using technology at once. It would also provide privacy for each student. Often students use the same program at a variety of individualized levels. Using headphones would allow students to work at the level best suited to them without friends nearby overhearing their work. This not only improves the quality of the learning environment, it boosts individual student confidence.
My second graders and I appreciate any and all support. Thank you!
