I teach at a Visual and Performing Arts school in Northern California. 50% of our students receive free or reduced lunch and nearly half of my students are second language learner. My students come from hard working families trying to make ends meet doing all that they can to support their families. Although, our students and families face many challenges we created an learning environment where all students can thrive, with the use of technology and the support of passionate teachers. Our students are very lucky to have one to one devices, which allows them to explore the world around them. As well as, preparing them for the high tech world they will be entering as adults. I am passionate about developing meaningful relationships with my students and creating engaging learning experience that will keep them life long learners.
