High School English I have the blessing of teaching and learning from my 10th grade students. I try to inspire them to love literature and writing through design thinking and creativity. Our classroom is special because we use a blended learning model where student voice/choice is valued. My students come from a variety of backgrounds, including: English Language learners, students with exceptional needs, students with special needs, students breaking barriers from low socio-economic backgrounds and a variety of ethnicities. All students regardless of location deserve a quality education, my students deserve an opportunity to show the world what they can do!
