I'm very fortunate to work with a group of students that need assistance with their different disabilities/needs. This project will benefit students with processing disorders, ADHD, Autism, hard to hearing, emotional disabilities, and visually impaired. Their needs vary just as much as their personalities.
Nearly all students are from low income households with various ethnic backgrounds.
Many of their parents want them to have opportunities just like their peers. The students are eager to learn new skills, and are building on establishing relationships with their peers and teachers.
