My students need different centers to build fluency in different areas and skills. This listening center is a great way to re-enforce daily skills taught in class. It's a center where they can work at their own pace or they can work together as a small group.
Being in a dual language classroom, they're exposed to English and Spanish throughout the week. This listening center would be extremely beneficial for the students that are still struggling with the English language. It's an extra time where they can focus on a specific skill they need help with. It will also be a great help for the students to practice their reading and achieve their individual goal.
