Our school district is comprised of one school, the Island Heights Grade school, which serves approximately 120 students in grades K through six. Though we have a small school population, our district works hard to provide each student with the same amount of opportunities they would receive in a larger school district. All students participate in STEAM and Enrichment classes weekly, in addition to more traditional specials such as music, art, and gym. Additionally, we offer many before and after school activities such as robotics, band, mural club, track and field, tennis, and chess club. With only one class per grade level, our students have strong bonds with their peers, and our teachers always work to create a safe and comfortable environment while fostering high levels of student achievement.
