These materials will make a difference in my students' learning since it will allow them to create more hands-on explorations that will impact their learning in creating concrete experiences. This will allow them to retain information and also help them build a scientific background. These students aren't exposed to a lot of materials that help seal their learning and make it memorable. Using these scientific materials they will build a background and also have a bigger picture of what the STEAM field is like. By building this knowledge there is a greater chance for students to grow in their learning and acquire a bigger scientific exploration.
These are not just materials that will construct their learning, these are tools to a greater self-exploration in the scientific field. Imagine students taking charge of their learning, making connections, and empowering themselves since they now feel that they too can be a scientist. By providing them these tools their classroom engagement will skyrocket and their willingness to learn and grow will be a self incentive. These students need to have solid concrete examples and by providing them with these tools they too can become future scientists.
