My students are curious, loving, and eager to learn. They are mathematicians; you'll often hear us singing our multiplication songs as we transition or just for fun! They are readers and thinkers. They want to learn how to be better learners and be better everyday. They are bilingual. My students are 99% latinos, every color, and beautiful. My students are growing up facing many challenges. They have hard working families who believe and teach their children that education is the key to thriving. Most importantly, living in the large city of Chicago, they are students who deserve the equity in education.
