The materials that I have requested will impact my students in many ones; my students come from all around the world with many language barriers. Kindles will be useful for all levels because the student can use apps that are appropriate to their learning. For example, three of my students speak Arabic only; therefore, they will be able to use the Kindle for a beginner; whereas a few students who have English as their primary language and are above grade level are able to use the Kindle for more of a challenge.
Anything hands-on for my students will be beneficial because it targets all areas of learning. They will get to see, hear, and touch the object/concept they are learning about which is helpful for not only ESL learners, but all learners.
As a first year teacher, one of my biggest struggles is staying organized. When one is organized, plans run smoothly. When plans run smoothly, the students receive more instruction, thus more learning takes place.
