Research has shown that reading aloud to students will improve student's comprehension and make real life connections. Follow up conversation after a read aloud is one of the most powerful opportunities that teachers have to motivate a love for the exciting world of literacy.
Students are learning and they do not even know it. These books are all on different reading levels with a variety of topics to better reach all of my students.
