My Students
As a special education teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
My students are eager to learn so they may become leaders
and make an impact in their community. I teach an amazing class of 32 kids in Jamaica, Queens. Many of my students are English Language Learners. Most receive free and reduced price lunch. All of my students are creative, thoughtful, and eager learners.
