Throughout the school year, TIME for Kids articles will challenge students as they master new vocabulary and improve their reading skills. Each issue includes maps, charts, and graphs to strengthen students' visual literacy and analytical skills.
In addition, drawing from high-quality, high-interest, nonfiction content and writing samples will help students use evidence and logic in their writing, problem-solving, and classroom discussions. The articles use exemplary informative/explanatory writing that students can mirror and also provide content they can use to practice their narrative and argument/opinion writing.
When using TIME for Kids digital, featured articles are available in alternate reading levels and with Spanish translation, so the same content can easily be taught to a whole class. Auditory learners and ELL students will also benefit from the read-aloud feature.
