In our classroom, our current pencil sharpener has quit on us. We are currently having to sharpen pencils with a hand sharpener, and you can probably guess that takes up quite a bit of time. Sturdy, good-quality pencils are super important for testing! We need the Ticonderoga pencils because they are sturdy, high-quality pencils. This will keep us from having to worry about having a lot of them break during our state testing that is coming up in April. We want as little distractions during the test as possible to help keep the students focus to do their absolute best. These pencils will help make that happen! I know my students would be totally grateful if they were given a new pencil sharpener and good pencils for our classroom!
