Our classroom is in need of materials! We are a brand new program starting from scratch. Students with disabilities often learn best through visuals and hands on activities. Hands on activities will enhance the learning of my students! Letter blocks would help my students understand that individual letters combine to create words with meaning. Magnetic sorting activities will help my students to develop categorizing skills. Math manipulatives will help my students understand one to one correspondence and beginning math skills. These materials will allow us to scaffold learning in our classroom in order to meet the needs of all of our students.
