My 200 sophomore language arts students are lucky enough to come from a very diverse community in Southern California, and that diversity is embraced at our school. In my classroom, students consistently work collaboratively with students from all backgrounds. Only by working together with people of all cultures, can they succeed in my classroom and more importantly in the 21st century.
