My students are 8th graders in South Carolina. They are from a small town in rural South Carolina, where resources are scarce, but enthusiasm and futures are bright. Although test scores may be low, my students' hunger for learning and their need for answers to their questions is always growing.
My ever inquisitive students come to school ready to learn each day, and they love to challenge me with questions about science and the world around them. They are lively and challenging, but they manage to make even the toughest day bright and bring a smile to my face as they walk through the hallways all day.
