The student population at our school is diverse. Racial makeup is: African American (47.5%), Hispanic (22.7%), White (20%). 99.5% of students are receiving a free or discounted lunch. This is the highest percentage in our school district. At this time as a Special Education teacher, I have thirty students I work with through out the day. Their reading and math levels span from PreK to sixth grade.
