I teach in an urban school in Pennsylvania. Our school is in a community that is full of violence and poverty. Our classroom is a safe place for all students. Regardless of my students home lives, they come to school with smiles on their faces and are ready to learn. Supplying my students with basic supplies will help them start their year off right!
Name tags, crayons, erasers, folders, scissors, and glue will encourage creative learning in our classroom. These materials will be used in language arts, math, writing, and centers to promote hands on learning. Folders will be used for communication with families. Dry erase markers and sheet protectors, along with our math templates, will provide hands on experience with the math curriculum. These basic supplies will make all the difference in our education for the 2017-2018 school year!
