Students are never to old to learn through play. The games target social emotional learning, which for my students can be even more challenging than learning academic skills. The social-emotional games will help my students develop emotional awareness and control, learn to express their emotions and build self-esteem through interactive play with their peers. The selection of books will allow students to make connections as they see themselves in the characters. A variety of social skills will be taught and reinforced through engaging books to help students learn to adapt in an ever-changing world.
