Seventy five percent of my students are low income and come to school without any school supplies. My students use dry erase boards on a daily basis in Kindergarten to practice letters, numbers, CVC words and have friendly math competitions. I am constantly having to replace dry erase markers at my own expense due to them drying out. Let's face it, they are messy and also stain clothes. During Covid, my boards took a beating as they were constantly sanitized and now the finish is damaged.
I came upon a great alternative called the Re-Write writing tablets by Boogie Board Writing Tablets. These tablets allow for a realistic writing experience for my new learners. They are battery powered boards that use a soft, solid stylus. Scholars can write and erase at the click of a button with ease. There are no messy markers and the devices are easily sanitized and durable! Durability and cleanliness are super important in my Kindergarten classroom. I am asking for 40 boards so that I may also share with our other Kindergarten class. The batteries last from 5-7 years per the manufacturer. This would be an amazing product that would help ALL of our kindergarten students progress to success!
