In the domains of phonics, high-frequency sight words, vocabulary, and reading comprehension, my students are currently testing at a kindergarten through 3rd-grade level. We would like to focus on developing these skills, but learning should be fun, not frustrating.
My students deserve to learn in the most exciting and engaging way possible. These activities such as reading comprehension board games, sight word games and practice journals, and phonics folder games and practice journals will supplement the district provided reading curriculum and also play a role in our classroom culture.
Our students in SpEd will benefit from your giving hearts! It's more than a donation, it is a reminder that they are valued and supported. A reminder that learning can be hard sometimes, but to keep trying different ways to get it done.
