This project will allow my students to be exposed to a world of literature. The types of literature that we would love will help my students develop a growth mindset, expose them to culturally diverse texts, and help them build on STEM skills. Our classroom is working on creating a growth mindset for ALL students. The growth mindset books will be used in our weekly lessons. The culturally diverse texts will expose students to different cultures and help inform them of their cultural values. Our goal is to create a Culturally Responsive Classroom. In our classroom, students are exposed to STEM challenges weekly. The literature will be used to drive discussions and help them understand how to cope when things get hard or do not go the way they planned.

About my class
