Attending a school with very little resources has restricted my students from acquiring the tools to help them succeed. For these bright, energetic, and culturally savvy children, they are so willing to learn to their fullest potential yet economic hardships at home and in the community have limited their abilities. They come in every morning with big smiles and even bigger hearts and expect that the world will be perfect today. These 120 budding stars need the chance to become what they dream. Unfortunately this simply isn't possible in our advancing society without a strong foundation in the literacy.
