After 4 years of teaching 2nd grade, I am moving up to 5th grade. In the lower grade level, I assigned classroom projects, but the students had fill-in the blanks worksheets and did not need to print their assignments. This year my students will benefit from having a color printer and ink in the classroom because they will be able to complete their assignments without worrying about where and how to print their completed projects.
I want to have the appropriate tools to help my students complete their projects and prepare them for the next grade levels and beyond. Most of the students come from low-income homes that do not have access to a printer or cannot afford to pay for copies at a local store or library. I want my students to complete each assignment or project stress-free.
