As schools move towards distant learning, I would like to provide my students with the proper tools to be successful in Geometry. I will create Geometry kits for the incoming students in my high school Geometry classes to make sure they are prepared for whatever our learning environment will look like. Protractors, compasses, and rulers will fill each students' Geometry kit.
Students will use the kits to construct congruent line segments and angles, parallel and perpendicular lines, isosceles and right triangles, and polygons inscribed in circles. These constructions are an art and get them excited about learning. Students will feel confident about having the supplies needed on the first day of school. I look forward to helping build my students' love of math.
