My kiddos are tired of spending their days in hard plastic chairs. They normally have the option of laying on the floor when it's work time, but last school year I bought five yoga balls and their worlds exploded. The bean bag chairs and pillows will be used in different areas of my room to create comfortable areas for my students to play math games or work in groups. I will use wobble stools and yoga balls to give student alternative seating options at their desks and our small group table.
My students want to move around, and they need some flexible seating options that will allow them to create, investigate, and communicate in comfort. I try to make my classroom an open and inviting place so that each student can feel safe and happy at school. These kiddos work so hard, and I love and appreciate each and every one of them.
