After a year of Pandemic Life and Remote work we all understand the importance of reliable technology. I've actually been working for the past year with a busted computer screen. I bought my Macbook Air as a first-year teacher in December of 2015 and it has seen me through years of research, lesson planning, video-making, recommendation letter writing, and teaching online. Literally everything I've taught my students over the past year has been generated on this machine and the wear and tear is real. I'm about to begin my second Master's Degree program through the Teachers College at Columbia University and need a reliable computer to get me through online courses and another stretch of years as a teacher.
